Implementing the New Standard for Lightning Protection?
Orion can give you a helping hand when you need it
Recently, a whole new British Standard has been published. BS EN 62305:2006 was published in 2006 and consists of four parts. The new standards will replace BS 6651 in less than 2 years and have a significant impact on all those in the design and implementation of lightning protection on structures.
At Orion, we are able to offer you a whole range of services to help you understand the implications, the best practices for implementation and compliant products. And importantly, being based in the UK, these are swiftly available to you. Not only that, but we are able to talk and visit you on demand -
fast and efficient
have products that are proven and trusted in the market place - quality and reliability
have staff who sit on ATLAS, our industry federation - knowledge and experience
Choose What Help We Can Give You with the New Standard
We are running a series of seminars alongside Furse, with the specific aims of providing you with critical and relevant facts on changes to the new standard, the impact on you and your business, effective methodologies to simplify implementation and ways of reducing overall labour and maintenance costs. All of the seminars are CIBSE-accredited, so you are able to broaden your knowledge under their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, gaining the skills necessary to stay ahead of your profession. Seminars can be held at your premises at a date and time of your choosing.
We have a simplified Standards Summary to help highlight and clarify the major issues within the standard.
